My name is Francesca Michaud and I am a multilingual actress, fluent in English, French and Italian (all three mother-tongue), with working knowledge of Spanish (B1 certificate gained). I am currently learning German (A2 certificate gained) and Mandarin Chinese (A2 certificate gained).
CV
Working as a digital marketing specialist has helped me develop the soft skills that can also be useful to a production such as team work, reliability and strong communication.
I attended my first acting courses in 2020/2021 with Bow Street Academy, Ireland’s #1 National school of Screen Acting.
In March 2022, I quit my full time job so that I could commit to self-submitting to as many short movies and “on set experience” as I possibly could. This led me to get cast as the lead role in 6 short films, as well as gaining my first IMDb credit and international recognition with a supporting role for a french feature film, Yetzer Hara. All of this in under 10 months.
During 2022 and 2023 I participated in several Masterclasses from European casting directors such as Francesco Vedovati, Tonucia Vidal, Michael Laguens, Lissy Holm and Leo Davis. The latter encouraged me to message one of her contacts in Ireland as they described me as “clever and useful” actor.
I am also taking 1-to-1 quarterly Coaching Sessions with acting coach Gerry Grennell ever since March 2022 and have signed up to the Houde School of Acting and to commercial classes with Mike Pointer from Hey, I Saw Your Commercial! during summer 2023.
SKIING
I started skiing at 3 years old and grew up close to the mountains. As a result I would spend most of my winter week ends on the slopes.
DANCING
I have been dancing until 20. Contemporary, hip hop & salsa. At university I was the official choreographer of the dance society.
RIDIND
I started horse-riding at 14 years old in Toscana, Italy. i have loved going back to the classes ever since and have experience in galloping.

REEL IN FRENCH – DRAMA
The first and second scene are extracts from the short film Lockdown – Adversaire Invisible in which I had the lead role. I have more information about the short film here. The last scene is from my first french student short, Le Reflet, in which I display a sadder side to my character.

HORROR REEL
In 2023 I got cast as the lead of the horror short, SOLVE, in which my character, Anna, cuts her ear in the hopes of getting out of this living nightmare.
