Rebirth‘s Inspiration
Rebirth hopes to showcase the emancipation of the artist from the empty promises and limiting beliefs injected in our souls since Childhood. It aims to display the painful doubts and crushing fear that comes with that Leap of Faith [in oneself].
The first step alone in becoming a full-time artist, aka the choice in itself to leave the “comforts and the security” of a salary, is just as hard as building your path within the arts.
Cluster One hopes to document that struggle so that other creators can see that we all go through the same process and that everything will be ok. Nothing bad can come out from doing something we love consistently.
But it also exhibits the bursts of happiness that comes with the liberation of oneself from society’s skepticism. The constant swinging eventually brings me close enough to Fear to realise how fragile and weak it actually is.
